Nov 10, 2016

New degree apprenticeships launching next yearFrom September 2017, new apprenticeships leading to a full degree will be available in subjects from engineering to policing.

Like other apprenticeships, the courses combine a paid job with studying for a qualification. Successful apprentices on the new courses will study at university and get a degree. Universities across the country are taking part, and are launching courses including cybersecurity, food manufacturing, paramedic practice, and aerospace engineering.

The new apprenticeships start in September 2017. Some courses will appear on UCAS, but others will be listed on the Gov.uk apprenticeship search site. You may also be able to apply directly to an employer.
